Wine Description:
Coming from Pago de la Calera in sand and clay layers of Toro Region. 90 years
old vineyards give age and character to a wine made with manual vintage. After
a permanence of 18 months in new french oak barrels and 48 months of bottle
aging, this wine has reached his fullness and maximun potential.
Tasting Notes:
Visual phase: very intense, bright, clean dark cherry colour.
On the nose is very intense and complex. Black fruit in preserve, fine toasted
touches from the oak, spices, menthol, minerals, thyme.
In the mouth it is meaty and silky, with fat, ripe, well-polished tannins. Subtle and
elegant on entry, incredible evolution in the mouth with great varietal expression.
Balmy, mineral and spicy tones blend with the tobaccos and fine chocolate of
long ageing in new oak. Very long, intense finish.
